As the Founder of Shashi Prabhu & Associates, Mr. Shashi Prabhu has imbibed his values of being honest and a trendsetter, all the services and landmarks delivered by the firm. Started off in 1967 with Architecture and Urban Planning services, he designed the Wankhede Stadium in 1972, and delivered India’s first postmodern cricket stadium in just 11 months. In fact, from then till now, the firm has hot a century of sports stadiums. Mr. Shashi Prabhu took the lead in 1984 to redefine the design practices in the healthcare field. With extensive study in USSR and the USA, he has delivered Mumbai’s iconic Lilawati Hospital and 30 more hospitals across India, till date.

Since joining Shashi Prabhu & Associates as a Partner in 2005, Mr. Amol Prabhu has been actively involved in reorganizing the company structure and setting up standardisation platforms in design, management and financials to expand the firm into a professional entity.
A post-graduate from Cornell University, New York, he has worked with leading design firms in the USA and brings a global perspective to design approach, prior to joining Shashi prabhu & Associates. He worked with Bovis as their Project Manager in New York and was involved with some of the biggest projects by Suffolk Construction, Boston’s largest Construction Management & General Contracting firm.
His expertise covers a broad spectrum of services like Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering and Project Management Consulting services. Under his able leadership, the firm has delivered architectural and design solutions to a wide variety of clients in Sports, Healthcare, Hospitality, Infrastructure and other sectors without sacrificing the quality and efficiency of service.
Mr. Atul Prabhu graduated from the prestigious Sir J.J. College of Architecture in 1995 with a first class honours degree in Architecture Design and Building Technology. After completing a full 5-year program in Architecture, Mr. Atul Prabhu assisted in the designing a major terminal station complex supported by a large-scale commercial development at Panvel. He followed it by leading the design team for the ambitious and critical project of the National Games Sports Venue setup in Hyderabad for hosting the 2002 National Games.
As an extension to his creative ability, Mr. Atul Prabhu realized the importance of employing the latest and advanced technological tools. He is a self-trained expert in AutoCAD, 3D Max and various 3-dimensional modeling and visualization tools such as Microsation, FormZ, Sketchup. These tools have complemented his inherent skills to visualize 3-dimensional structures along with his keen sense of aesthetics in producing some award-winning spaces and façade concepts for buildings such as the NSCI Superdome, Universal Trade Towers in Delhi, Wayside amenities on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. With this, he has been instrumental not only in the early concept stages of the project but also in applying finishing touches to each of the firm’s design.
In addition, Mr. Atul Prabhu has extensive experience in putting together Slum Rehabilitation & Development Schemes having worked with a couple of NRI developers for their projects in Mumbai.
